  • The Idaho Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) introduced House Bill 377 to the Ag Committee last month. This bill would create a statewide Agricultural Protection Area (APA) framework to be implemented by local governing bodies. The bill also proposes to create a fund for future APA participation incentives, better planning for agriculture, and promoting succession planning resources through ISDA’s Farm and Ranch Center. The bill is attached for your review ahead of this month’s roundtable.

The IFBF is wanting feedback on the bill from a wide audience of stakeholders including this roundtable. Please join us 1:00 – 2:30 pm MDT on May 16th, 2023 and have your questions ready!

REGISTER FOR THE ROUNDTABLE HERE – This link will take you to the Zoom registration. Once registered, Zoom will send you an Outlook meeting invite for your calendar.

Cheers,
